Cool.  Once it's built, can you run "make check" and check that it all
passes (a few tests will SKIP - that's OK, it just means you haven't
got the large files of test data).  I don't think anybody's tried
Xapian on Linux/sparc for a while so it's an interesting result for
the PLATFORMS file.  Running the test suite also gives you confidence
that there hasn't been any silent miscompilation.
