Right, should be sorted now.  Can you update xapian-core and check
everything works OK?  If it does, we can look at doing the same for
the other main directories.

Can we get this added automatically by default for newly added textual
files?  "svn add" has "--auto-props" and "--no-auto-props" options which
suggests there's a way to specify this sort of thing...
