[Xapian-devel] Regarding OMEGA project, GsoC

Hi,

This is Rahul Singhal, a student of Computer Science And Engineering
Department of Indian Institute Of Technology, Bombay.
My interest lies in coding & algorithm development . I love being wired all
the night. I have a lot of experience of C\C++ language,
did a course which aims at the deep knowledge of C++ at IIT Bombay itself.
As a part of this course I made an SQL compiler in C++
in my first year . I have always been an active participant of inter as
well as intra college coding competitions and hacking nights and have
written
more than 1000 lines of working codes many times during such nites. Above
all I have quite a lot knowledge of  Scheme \ java and some basics of PHP.



Just now I read the project ideas of OMEGA project on your idea page and
found them really interesting. I found both the project
 Dynamic Snippets and Text Extraction Libraries matching up to my interest
and I  am looking forward to contribute to this project.
I preferably want to work  for the Dynamic Snippets project  under your
guidance and supervision . Also I am a lot comfortable
with Linux\ Ubuntu too and
have done some library and OS modifications also as per the institute usage
of Ubuntu as a member of our Web And Coding Club
at institute level.

Sir,
I am a fast learner and especially enjoy coding .Now i really wants to
participate in your project under GSoc.
So, Could you please suggest me the way to contribute in this project
before GSoc application submission
to increase my chances of getting selected in this project ?"
