[Xapian-discuss] license question

hi everybody,

I am thinking of using xapian on a website framework to have some advanced
search capabilities.  This system would be commercial and partially closed
source.  Does the GPL license allow this?  Nothing is being changed to
xapian.

I have already read the GPL, but I just don't know if this is allowed under
the GPL license.

Can somebody help me out with this?
