It's back up now.  I'm not sure what the problem was (James should know)
- from the evidence I can see it looks like the server lost connectivity
and later crashed, or at least wasn't cleanly shut down.

There's isn't a mirror, but the mailing list is hosted by the same
machine, so you wouldn't have got a reply before it returned even if
there was one.
