[Xapian-discuss] flintcompact

Hello, 

First let me say that I really appreciate Xapian.  It has proved
extremely useful to me.  

I have about 40 databases currently being indexed independently but
which I would like to consolidate.  I'm using the flint back end since
it would be nice to make use of the extra performance.  I found though
that I end up using quite a lot of file descriptors if I have 40
databases per query.  Is there a flintcompact on the table or should I
switch to quartz so that I can use quartcompact?
