I think that dedicated 'cgi-bin' folders are a bit unsual in these days
of php and python...
You might want to take a look at how ViewVC handles its installation of
cgi scripts, perhaps.

Ok, so having the CGI called 'omega' is fine, but the howto should
perhaps make it clear that many users will already have a different
'omega' in their PATH. It certainly confused me for a little while :-)
