I've uploaded Xapian 0.9.7:

Some highlights of this release:

* The remote backend has been rewritten to be faster, use less network
  bandwidth, and support database updating.

* The DB transaction API has implemented.

* Assorted enhancements and bugfixes have been made to the QueryParser.

* Omega now supports htdig's "ignore this bit" comments, stores MD5s,
  lastmod times, and file sizes.  Excel and Powerpoint files can be
  indexed, and PDFs and OpenDocument files are indexed faster.
  
* PHP5 and PHP4 class wrappers are now included.

* Xapian::MatchDecider can now be subclassed in C# and Ruby.
