I guess I'm indeed hitting the Apache timeout.

scriptindex was in a 'biord' state (FreeBSD) while I was performing a query with omega (which was also in biord).

I've tried running the query with ./omega, it takes about 68 seconds for the query to complete. The machine is dedicated to Xapian and has 2 gb of RAM. Average disk-usage is about 1.5mb/s, which is not too much isn't it? (scriptindex was running aswell)
