You can now get announcements of new Xapian releases and other bite-sized
Xapian news via microblog.  Just follow @xapian:

http://identi.ca/xapian
http://twitter.com/xapian

The identi.ca feed is the preferred one as identi.ca is Free Software and
Open Data - see http://identi.ca/doc/faq for details.  Also the twitter
feed is just gatewayed from identi.ca, so if the gateway goes down you may
miss announcements.

There's also a !xapian group on identi.ca, which you're welcome to join:

We'll continue to make release announcements on freshmeat too, at least
for now:
