I have a customer who has stopped calling me also.  I didn't get fired 
per se, but I'm not getting any business any longer.  He's quite happy 
with Xapian also, even though he doesn't have any knowledge of what's 
under the hood.

The fact he's in the newspaper business might be part of the reason he's 
not calling.  Those folks are having a hard time of it these days.
