Comment:

 The ambiguities will be for the case where NULL is passed for that
 parameter.  There must be a better solution than adding a parallel method
 name though.

 I assume you're planning to merge this with the matchspy branch now, so
 this is no longer a 1.1.2 thing so moving it to 1.1.4 for now.
