 Sorting with XapianMultiValueSorter while connected to a remote database
 returns documents in random order. Xapian doesn't respond to
 forward/backward order changes and adding/removing sort fields.

 Sorter works fine with local databases though.

 Tested under php/symfony running on ubuntu linux.
