 The duplication happened because xapdep.patch included the changes to
 create xapdep/xapdep.mak twice, and I failed to spot that, and patch
 handles this by doubling the contents.  I spotted this at the time for
 xapdep/xapdep.c, and spotted it later for xapdep/README.

 So, definitely ready to backport now.
