Comment(by olly):

 A couple of very quick comments:

 Clearly "include <cassert>" wasn't intended to be part of the licence text
 at the start of each file, but since it is the licence text I'd be happier
 to have an explicit OK for fixing that.

 I think you must have tab display width set to 4, which probably explains
 most of the misidentation I noted before.  The Xapian code assume tabs
 display as 8 spaces.
