 FWIW, it's entirely possible that my observed speedup for the
 record/docdata readaheads were due to experimental error. I didn't
 test/analyze that case nearly as thoroughly as query performance.

 I agree with your suggestion made elsewhere that any docdata preread
 should occur w/ MSet::fetch(), and would be happy to try testing based on
 that.
