Comment:

 Overall it seems it's probably worth the effort to handle this, so I've
 fixed it in [c69c3f58c4897575e8e28ce120f5cdc2534ce90e/git] for 1.3.5.

 Will backport to 1.2.x if it's not complex to do so.
