 Ah yes, Solaris 11 Sparc is also a different machine than the one carrying
 the homedirs and therefore uses NFS. I'd suggest to go with `/var/tmp`,
 just please make sure to clean it regularly as I usually don't expect user
 stuff to be there :-)
