Comment:

 There's been no further work on this for over 8 years, nor any users
 asking about ocaml bindings, so it doesn't seem useful to keep this ticket
 open any longer and I'm going to close it.

 If someone is interested in working on ocaml bindings please speak up and
 we can reopen.
