Yes, there's no point doing 0.9.7 now 0.9.8 is out.

Yes - I've committed a fix.

I'm intending to release 0.9.9 very shortly.  The main thing this
fixes is building the bindings with Python 2.5 on 64 bit platforms.

So if you find anything else which needs fixing, report it promptly!
