Working out the roadmap should really be driven primarily by you as part
of putting together your proposal.  It is an opportunity for you to show
that you have understood what needs doing, and at least started to think
through the solutions.  Also you have a much better understanding of
your interests and skills than we do!  We can try to assist in this
process if you have specific questions.

The one thing I would particularly highlight is that of the potential
improvements in the project idea, completing the Python 3 support is
probably the one which would be most widely beneficial.
