[Xapian-devel] GSoC 2012 Student Introduction.

Hello,

I am a second year student (Bachelor's degree) at Politehnica
University of Bucharest.

I am really interested in the Omega Dynamic Snippets project. I think
that this project is suited for me and will help me build IR skills.
This is one of the fields that I am interested in and i hope that by
getting accepted I will make useful contributions.

I am studying in the second year (Bachelor's degree) at Politehnica
University of Bucharest in Romania.
I have some experience with algorithms and data structures. I am a
decent C++ programmer and have past experience with open-source
projects from past GSoC(Unknown-Horizons) and hackathons.

Besides C++, I know Python, C and work my way around in Java.

I have downloaded the source code and I am trying to get familiar with
the code-base and get myself a better idea on the project. I am
currently having some problems with the build process, but I hope that
i will get over them soon.
I'm mihaibivol on the IRC channel and I will be asking soon questions
there about the build process and small instructions.
