[Xapian-devel] Xapian and GSoC 2014

Hey Parth,

    Just for a quick introduction to the Xapian community, I am Tejas
Nikumbh, Senior EE UG at IIT Bombay. My background is in C++, Machine
Learning and programming in general.I'd like to be a part of Xapian's dev
community and GSoC this year.

    Thanks for the input. I also had a chat with Olly the other day, and as
I had shown interest in the Weighting Schemes project as well, she
suggested I go over some theorotical aspects of Information Retrieval and
gave me generally good advice. I'm onto it.

    I'll also be looking into the code base this weekend. Let me know if
there are any other updates.
