[Xapian-discuss] db error

Please CC the xapian-discuss list, since I might not have all the 
answers and I know others here do.

The omega.conf file points to the directory that holds the directories 
that contain the databases.  For instance in your case you have the 
config entry /home/redhat/omega-0.9.5/data.   When you run the omindex 
command with a db name of "test" for instance, it will create a 
directory /home/redhat/omega-0.9.5/data/test.  That way you can have 
mulitple databases, all of them residing in different direcories below 
/home/redhat/omega-0.9.5/data.  Go back as I suggested and run ./omega 
-db=test P=searchString.  It should work.
