That'd be neat. I have word splitting a la QueryParser in Python
already (although I'm not entirely sure where - I think I have
index_text() in woodpecker3).

I'll probably prepare to do either Shakespeare, or something that will
index Atom (since I'm working on that myself anyway). It'd be kind of
cool to build something that can index Atom, and have people shout out
URLs to throw it at.

By "less technical", I assume you mean "less hands-on", rather than
actually with less technical detail. I'm not going to go into IR
theory, or even touch on weighting, the various functors at all. I'll
probably not use stemming, to avoid having to explain it.
