[Xapian-discuss] Xapian Search Index Continuous Update

I am new to Xapian.  I have currently looking into Xapian and Lucene.
I have a database in mysql and have a table forum.
Can xapian be configured to update continuously, and provide up to date result?  Also, could the result made be sorted by time?
