[Xapian-discuss] Swish3

As I mentioned[0] some years(!) ago on this list, version 3 of Swish-e (Swish3)
will offer Xapian as one backend.

A few weeks ago I announced[1] that Swish3 is now at the stage in development
where there is a fairly stable indexer/searcher using Xapian, both in C++ and Perl.

I wanted to mention this development here in case there were interested parties,
particularly folks who might want to contribute.

There is a dev site[2].

Swish3 is similar to Omega, but as I have outlined[3] on the Swish-e list, it
offers some different features, notably robust XML parsing using libxml2.
