Indeed - Yahoo's "p=reject" means that an email apparently sent from
Yahoo but lacking a valid DKIM signature will be rejected by anyone
who honours "p=reject". So stripping the DKIM headers is no help unless
you also change the "From:" header.

I don't think rewriting "From:" is a good idea at all.

AOL is pretty much irrelevant for us though - it just isn't at all
popular with our community. In fact there currently isn't a single
subscriber to xapian-discuss or xapian-devel using AOL, but e.g. 18
using various yahoo domains to xapian-discuss (c.f. 200 for
gmail+googlemail).
James has removed the subject tags from -discuss and -devel. If you
were using those for filtering, I'd recommend switching to "List-Id"
instead.
There's still some content filtering (attachments, HTML email). We
will monitor if these cause problems.
Cheers,
Olly
