There are also some details in how they're wrapped in the PHP bindings
docs (php/docs/bindings.html in xapian-bindings).

It would be nice to have specifically tailored API documentation for
each wrapped language, but unless it's automatically generated from
the C++ API documentation somehow, keeping it up to date is probably
a prohibitive maintenance burden.
